WITH YOU.
Lindsey Pace, LCSW
You're here because you are struggling to help your anxious child.
You’ve spent countless hours soothing, reasoning, researching, and second-guessing yourself — because you care so deeply. What if you could help your child feel braver without carrying all that weight alone?
You’re in the right spot.
ABOUT BRAVE TOGETHER
My approach is based on evidence-based methods alongside a deep respect for each family’s values and needs.
Parenting an anxious child can feel like walking on eggshells — one moment calm, the next a full-blown meltdown over a change in plans, a homework assignment, or a goodnight routine gone sideways. You love your child deeply, but sometimes it feels like anxiety is running your household.
I created Brave Together so parents don’t have to navigate this alone.
After years of working as a therapist specializing in anxiety and OCD, I noticed something powerful: when parents learn how to respond differently to anxiety — with calm confidence instead of fear or frustration — cycles begin to change. Kids grow braver. Parents feel lighter. Families start breathing again.
Brave Together is where tried-and-true psychology meets real-life parenting. It’s a place for parents who want to understand anxiety, learn practical tools, and build confidence in their ability to help their child be brave— even when it’s hard.
YOU NEED TO KNOW:
This isn't about controlling your child.
Spoiler alert… You cannot, at any point, have total control of your child. The good news is, you are always able to have influence. Brave Together is about influencing your child while focusing on what you can control- yourself.
The best investment you can make is in yourself.
As parents, it is easy to pour all our resources into our kids —signing them up for counseling, therapy, and extracurricular activities. These are great activities, but sometimes our resources are better spent on ourselves, even if it feels selfish.
You are a good parent who is having a hard time.
This is also true of your child- they are a good child who is having a hard time. This is not your fault. You and your child are not broken or stuck like this forever. You can learn a new way forward.
